March is finally here, and this week Hamilton delivered. With TWICE lighting up TD Coliseum, Murder on the Orient Express now running at Theatre Aquarius, two Candlelight concerts at The Westdale, and a Tiger-Cats offseason that just keeps adding pieces, there’s a lot to get into.

Fri, Mar 6 – Sat, Mar 7 — TD Coliseum (101 York Blvd)

One of the biggest K-pop acts in the world brings their world tour to Hamilton for two sold-out nights. If you scored tickets, this is your week. If you didn’t, the energy around TD Coliseum on both nights will be unmistakable.

Now Playing – Wed, Mar 4 – Sat, Mar 21 — Theatre Aquarius (190 King William St)

Agatha Christie’s masterpiece of mystery is onstage now. Hercule Poirot boards the Orient Express, a murder happens, and absolutely everyone looks suspicious. Directed by Morris Panych and adapted by Ken Ludwig, this is an essential Hamilton theatre this month.

With TWICE taking over TD Coliseum this weekend, the Toronto Rock have no home game scheduled during March 3–8. Their next home matchup will be announced via the Rock’s schedule. Stay tuned.

It was a big week across multiple Marauder programs:

🏅 Curling (Silver Medal): The women’s curling team earned a silver medal at the U SPORTS Canadian Curling Championships in Regina, with back-to-back national runner-up finishes for this program. A standout moment in a competitive week.

🏊 Swimming: Hayden Yeung claimed silver in the 100m breaststroke and bronze in the 50m breaststroke at the OUA Swimming Championships. Charlie Giamichele won gold in the 50m backstroke para event and silver in the 100m freestyle para event.

🏐 Women’s Volleyball: The Marauders swept Windsor 3–0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-22) in the OUA Championship first round, advancing to the semifinals with a 16-5 record.

The men’s basketball team (3-18) is closing out a tough OUA Central season. No home games at Burridge during March 3–8, but check the schedule for any playoff developments as the OUA postseason unfolds.

Forge FC’s CONCACAF Champions Cup run ended against Tigres UANL in the first round. The team is now fully focused on the 2026 CPL season, which opens April 4. Expect a motivated squad ready to channel that competitive fire into the new campaign.

The Ticats’ offseason continued to heat up this past week. On February 26, the team signed Josiah Scott, an American defensive back with extensive NFL experience (Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers). The Hamilton, Ohio native brings 39 career NFL games to the Ticats’ secondary, a savvy addition.

The offseason roster is taking clear shape, with the Bo Levi Mitchell era firmly in place and the defence getting real upgrades. The Grey Cup feels like the conversation this team is building toward.
