🥍 Toronto Rock (NLL Lacrosse)

The Toronto Rock are back at TD Coliseum this Friday for a huge matchup against the Colorado Mammoth (Fri, Feb 20 @ 7:30 PM). This is the second game of a home-and-home series, with the Rock coming off a hard-fought win against Oshawa last weekend. The Mammoth are one of the NLL's top teams, making this a critical test. Fast-paced box lacrosse at its finest, don't sleep on Hamilton's pro team.

⚒️ Forge FC

Forge FC's CONCACAF Champions Cup run ended Monday night with a 4-1 loss to Tigres UANL in Mexico (4-1 on aggregate). After holding Tigres to a 0-0 draw in Hamilton, Forge fell behind early in the second leg and couldn't recover. Rodrigo Aguirre scored twice for Tigres, with Brian Wright netting a late penalty for Forge. The Hammers exit in the first round for the fourth consecutive Champions Cup campaign, all four eliminations coming against Liga MX opposition.

⏳ 108 days until Forge FC's 2026 CPL season opener (early June expected). The CPL regular season runs April 4 through October 25.

🐯 Hamilton Tiger-Cats

The Tiger-Cats keep loading up in free agency. Recent signings include 2022 CFL Most Outstanding Special Teams Player Mario Alford (former Saskatchewan return specialist with nine career return touchdowns), punter Fraser Masin (first overall pick in 2025 CFL Global Draft), DL Charbel Dabire, and Canadian receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr. (former All-CFL selection in 2022). The additions bolster special teams, defensive line depth, and Canadian receiving options.
