Hey Hamilton π
February's almost done, and this week, Hamilton is going out with a bang. Bruce McCulloch takes the Westdale stage Friday, the Toronto Rock host the Buffalo Bandits in a fierce rivalry showdown Saturday, and two Candlelight concerts light up the weekend. Plus, Theatre Aquarius gears up to open Murder on the Orient Express next week, and the Tiger-Catsβ offseason keeps getting more interesting.
Letβs get into it.

π― Hamilton Tiger-Cats
The Ticatsβ busy offseason continues. This past week, the team released QB Harrison Frost (Feb 21), a move that signals the team is fully committed to the Bo Levi Mitchell era going forward. The additions keep coming: two-time All-CFL linebacker Wynton McManis (former Argonaut), explosive returner Mario Alford, National receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr., and punter Fraser Masin are all locked in. The Ticats look determined to turn last yearβs East Final appearance into a Grey Cup run.

π McMaster Marauders
The McMaster Marauders menβs basketball team wraps up its regular season this week. The squad (2-15) has been battling through a tough OUA Central schedule, but remains competitive in individual matchups. Check the schedule for any final regular-season games or playoff seeding updates.
On the womenβs side, the season came to a close on Feb 18 when the Marauders were eliminated by the Brock Badgers (76-63) in the OUA first-round playoffs. Carly McBain and Grace Ammendolia had strong individual seasons. A tough result, but this group showed real fight throughout the year.
